Luxury house rental for the Ryder Cup Golf for up to 18 people
Available exclusively for the week of the Ryder Cup from Monday 27th September to Monday 4th October 2010 to enable guests to experience the Ryder Cup practice days as well as the three days of competition.
Self-catering accommodation in a 250 year old farmhouse for 14 people in 7 bedrooms, plus self-catering accommodation for a further 4 people in a beautiful adjacent cottage.
The farm is an easy 35-mile drive to Celtic Manor following excellent A-roads and dual carriageways. The farmhouse is a large, sunny, bright, south east facing house dating from around 1750. The main rooms are large with polished wooden floors and furnished in a comfortable traditional yet uncluttered style, with modern facilities combined with good quality antiques.
Views from the farm are truly spectacular due to the elevated position and the landscape may be enjoyed from the terrace with its large table and seating for the entire party. The farmhouse is located on a quiet country lane with no near neighbours. Guests can walk around the ten acres of the farm, the grounds incorporating an orchard, several paddocks, new woodland and a stream and they may decide to practice their iron shots over the lake.
There is ample parking for at least twelve cars in the private courtyard. The farmhouse is a short walk, just under half a mile, from a village which has a shop / post office, two good country pubs (both do food), a butchers shop and a fish and chip shop.
During your stay you may wish to take a llama trek with the Golden Valley Llamas herd who are based at the farm.
